ok there are more problems than i expected. The md3 Format seems not to be always the same.

Is someone here comfortable with creating md3 models?

I can make them(nPherno md3 compiler, old style of making md3. Loads ok in Deep Exploration demo, and other md3 viewers). Indeed, I have one made.

Was previously hanged on a site, but tripod deleted it as I put files not linked in html, or as I did not logged in in long time.

I can upload one again, it is already made...
is just a simple md3 one piece, no tags (I don't like chunking the model, I just would use it as a better md2) , no configure file...the more basi form of it, and what i have made is from my arena model, 2000 tris, and a load of keyframes, so much heavier that it should be. One should count on quadratic interpolation in anm engine for md3, but I just was lazy and added all frame meshes as keyframes. It can kill performance on any engine, but loaded alone, maybe serve u for test.

Oh, has a problem, but no worries for tests.CFX did export with geometry cracks there were is a uv limit, so it has like discontinuos brakes on the smoothing. That's why I don't release it free for every one...artist worrries about quality.
Finally making games again!

the same here! no problem with md3, there are exporters for max, gmax, unwrap3d, milkshape3d, etc. Milkshape3d even create the script to load it properly into Q3, so ....shoot!

@LordNaikon:

you'll find tons of Q3 md3 models here, including trees and plants:

you must register to download them
