Hey, hey. Please note that Irrlicht was programmed by one programmer. Niko has done a really great job and I admire his great knowledge of 3D programming.

I'm using Anjuta and g++ 4.0
Since i'm working on Gnome I use Anjuta. But I have not tried the new 2.0 Release because I'm too lazy compiling it :wink:

Today if have complied pyogre.
It's damn cool.

You can easily translate c++ code to python.
The framerate is only 3% slower which is nothing.

The Problem is, that irrlicht has not python binding. The Venom project lies in the Sleeping Beauty slumber and is not a good binding because of the fact ...

irrlicht doesnt support multitexturing on opengl/linux thats why its so dark.
search the forum.
But if i raise the camera I see what i want to see.
Another problem is, that I can't see any shaders. If Irrlicht doesn't support Linux better i must swich to Ogre.
Maybe another Linux user can tell me ...

Now i've a running irrlicht system on my ubuntu machine but the OpenGL Render doesn't work.
I can play UT2004 and AmericasArmy but no Irrlicht game:

Hello Linux Users,
I also don't have problems with Windows any more because of Ubuntu Linux.
Everythings running fine.
Maybe someone can tell me how to use Irrlicht under Linux.

My only problem is the fu** ATI driver.
I'm waiting for the ATI driver revolution... 8)

Maybe you can add the missings keys to the input.h like lCtrl, rCtrl, . , - _ and so on.
Also the software render isn't linked.
Maybe you can change this untile the next release.
