I'm working on my own engine...

I'm currently working on a game engine which is pretty much inspired by Irrlicht.

It supports:
- OpenGL 4
- Phong and PBR shaders

As far as I know, tinygltf is MIT license, shouldn't be a problem I guess? I see zlib, libpng, bzip2 etc. are included in the irrlicht repo.

Just now I tried to visit Niko's blog at irrlicht.org and now the domain name redirects to a Facebook page called Café Irrlicht. Seems like niko is venturing into cafe business, but still keep the name Irrlicht lol

Haven't been posting anything here for ages, just to check out once in a while and see if this forum is still alive.
Anyway, I have already given up on Irrlicht since like... 8-9 years ago after seeing not much progress going around the engine.
I still remember the main reason given by devs back ...

I thought stars would look brighter in the dark area and dimmer in the brighter area? Should have more stars appearing in the top left corner. Just my 2 cents.
