I am facing one more problem regarding this ,the things are flipping,

ex. if i have a minigun having box on left side attached to it,in irredit it will show that in right....

help

File format I want to export is .X and using panda exporter.
Facing some problem in right way of showing in irredit. The objects that are made in max r flipped in opposite direction in irredit .

Right coordinate approach for 3dsmax

I have model in 3dsmax and it open in irredit flipped and in wrong posture
. Can anybody give a step by step way to export with right coordinate system from max that it do show, exact that way in irredit.

collada makes to many lightmap image.... and bsp be more fast (plz correct if wrong).

Ok , i want a relevant solution and pretty much straight forward answer for lightmaps.
Q . which format i should go for maps (support for lightmaps) . Also i need to export my map from max.

ya B3D is good,but cannot find exporter for max 9 , one more problem is also arising.The map as shown in max,is flipped in opposite direction in irredit. i.e. if door is in right in max,it is left in irredit ( more explaination: map is shown in opposite direction, and no error or texture or other th...

Thanks for the details quantumleap. That worked completely fine.

Is their any other format , which can export map from 3dsmax with texture and lightmap which do not decrease the performance in irrlicht.

export is in .3ds , not in .eds(sorry for that)

wrong mapping import from 3dsmax

I have made a quite big map in max with textured done and exported in .3ds .When I import that to irredit it shows some texture at right place and rest r lost or weirdly place here and thr.

Is thr any thing that can be done to make it work fine.....
