You don't need a Qt-specific way to embed, it's just nice to use if you already use Qt.
If you take a look at some of the demos I've posted (vertex texture comes to mind), they have embedded files in the executable using just irr.

Qt brings a very nice resource system that allows you to easily embed files to your executable (http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/resources.html).
Normally, you just pass ":/your/file/within/the/resources.png" as parameter to open a file from the resources. But that, of course, only works for ...

Hey,

it seems like the bug descriped here also applies to CCubeSceneNode ::clone(), CSphereSceneNode ::clone() and CAnimatedMeshSceneNode ::clone().
At least in CCubeSceneNode.cpp it didn't seem to be fixed in the latest SVN revision.

So, as far as I understand, querying the shadow variable first ...

Well, if you did the bugfixes which are described on the last two pages, then this should be the only one which is still unfixed.

Here is the solution:

replace:
material.Textures[0] = 0;

with
material.setTexture(0, 0);


in the files hidden.cpp (should be line 74) and body.cpp (line 342 ...
