Problems with getHeight
Hi,
i have problems with the terrain->getHeight()-function.
It only works correct with a LOD of 0. But i often smooth my terrain. How can i tell the function that it should work with LOD 3 or 4?
Thank you!
Kind regards
Veiter

terrain.getHeight() ignores LOD
Hello together, i've a question about the getHeight()-function. The "Get-Y"-algorithm worked perfect with the old collision detection, but the new getHeight() doesnt work correct. The player in my game goes through hills and climbs invisible hills. I think the getHeight()-method works with...

Thank you, fmx, for testing and reporting. In fact, the cannon blast is not part of players skills but it makes much fun. In future, the player will not be allowed to use this any more. I also wonder about the disappearance of some buildings. We use the irrlicht-collision-detection, so it seems to b...

Of course the player can get into the act, too, but beware of the red ant-queen! You can adjust the size of the t...

Scaling of Models influences the performance!
Hello together, i have a problem with some 3D-Trees. When I scaled them to {0.01, 0.01, 0.01} (very small), I got a framerate of 100-140. But with a scaling of {1, 1, 1} (very big), the framerate goes down to 10 !! How is that possible? I thought that the performance doesn't relate on the scaling of...

I'm afraid there is no direct link because the download section is a php-script. But after the login you can click top right below the word "Downloadbereich".
However, a deprecated link is:

Here you find a few screenshots of the actual version: http://randwelt.andyarts.de/showtopic.php?threadid=162 Because of needing much creativity (and last but not least a few more models and textures), we're looking forward to any...
