Well i have kinda the same question. For Static objects there are no problems, since for example in irrb they can be exported as independant objects (with 1 material per node). But with animated ones doenst seem to work so well, i tried the b3d script of gandalf, it works well with 1 material-1UV-1t...

As for constructive criticism i think it need some particles in the wheels to make it looks more in "contact" with the terrain.

On a more serious note idk what are the plans but i think the redesign is a good idea, w/e design wins and why not pass the project to its own domain and server? irrilcht3d.com/net is avaible if niko is still using irrlicht3d.org, and i think a shared domain will be more than enough for the the need...

It could be the model/texture, this is a view in xnormal http://file.black-byte.com/FairyXnormal.jpg The texture seams cause problems and also the shoulder's bend in the animation is not that clean (im still a noobish "low poly" modeler). Or it could be artifacts with the tangent calculati...

Well here is the result, at least i resolved the weird ilumination problem (and extra points that christianclavet point out). It was just me being noobish on Blender and dont looking at that little property "double sided" in the edit panel :oops: . Model is 3506 triangles now, one texture/...

Ok hold down the horses i got a new UV map for the model with better pack, no distortion on hands or feets, and all in 1 texture (wings and body), ill upload it later.
