Irrlicht Engine

The .exe does not work for my as well as trying to compile it. I use Microsoft Visual Studio. I get a linker error.

Mine opens the config scrren, after I hit ok it gos to a black scrren then closes.

OS: Windows XP SP2
Video: nForce GFX 4200 512 Ram
Driver: DirectX 9, OpenGL

I can't seem to find out how to get a third person view. I'm sure the engine can do it, Whats the code? Thanks in advanced.
