1) should the billboard follow the character? (set to children and parent)
2) At the start of the game, the particle emitter will move the billboards slowly to the scene. Is there any way to set the particle effect to move to the scene first?

My artist is major in Maya. She didn't really know how to use the rest of tools. 3D model tools is really hard to learn in the first place. (Steep learning curve)

yup the snow, i try and it work well (not visually good thought)

I am trying to make blizzard effect. Since i am not in a country that have snow, i wonder how do i make a visually nice blizzard with foggy effect

I was given suggestion to use billboard blending.

Ok, now i got another question.

I already knew how to do mouse picking (turning 2D coordinate to 3D coordinate)

Now, i was wondering how do i translate 3D coordinate to 2D coordinate (based on camera)

any idea? (sound like a inverse raycast)

I am doing a mini game whereby player click on the screen to shoot some object down.

It is a 3D game. So when an object pop out, the game will draw a billboard to ask the player to click on it. When player click on that object, the object will fall down. The camera is static, and fix in one side ...
