Raytracing
actualy it would be "raycasting" because you do not count any reflections (you do that for bouncing a projectile "n" times)

Yea I am using Mandrake 10 just for ease of install and extra packages. Had Fedora Core 1 I don't like the package management (little ot no way to install/uninstall individual packages) as for hardware... please don't laugh An eMachines W2646 2.66GHz Celeron :) 256 MB RAM :) Intel i845g GPU (sucking...

I know my hardware is crap but.....
after running the tec demo I could see the mip-map edge (ugly)
is there any filtering (tri, bi, ansotropic {or how ever it's spelled})?
I've looked at the headers but C++ is new to me so I am not sure I would notice it if I saw it.
