Re: ModelToSprite

Yeah Ducky created one. It had some bugs but I have been using it for some of my projects. I will try out this one.

Re: SuperTuxKart 0.7 - official release

Just wanted to say I was on SourceForge a couple of days ago looking for something and your project was on the front page with over 6500 daily downloads. Congratulations to you!

Re: Friendly F#: fun with game programming and XNA

Why would anyone want a book on F# and XNA......they are totally different languages/frameworks, opposed to a pure XNA book or C# and XNA? XNA is a framework written in C#....

Re: Screenshot of the Month July 2011 [Winner announced!]

I know what I say may not really matter here as I mostly just lurk these days, but personally I just feel that just because someone dropped a professionally made scene into Irrlicht, it shouldn't be valid. But oh well, I guess that seems to be okay, I will just continue to never vote for these entri...

Re: Screenshot of the Month July 2011 [Winner announced!]

You may be right CuteAlien about the format but that scene sure looks like a shot from a Quake 3 level. I may be wrong though, and if I am; my apologies.

Re: Screenshot of the Month July 2011 [Winner announced!]

I'm not trying to be a dick but why can people submit a screenshot of a quake asset just rendered in Irrlicht? Technically it is not their screenshot as all they did was make it render in Irrlicht.

It's just something that has always bothered me about these competitions.

Re: the new forum sucks.

I have to agree with this post, I did not see a problem with the old forum, it looked great, clean and very easy to read. This new forum feels completely unnatural and I am almost at the point to stop reading it.

Re: New phpBB3 Forum

I would strongly suggest moving the user information from a post back over to the left. This is standard UI design from a usability perspective. It feels completely unnatural to look to the right to find who posted what.

I loved your game. The replay feature was neat but it would've been better if you could have jumped in at that point. For example (I believe its the last level) the level with 60 waves, I kept getting under 20 waves and would have to restart, it would've been nice to fast forward to like wave 30 or ...

Forget html5 etc, it will never become mainstream. Wow how can you say that, there is a huge push for people and companies to start investigating HTML5 and converting sites. I know I have personally done 2 months of HTML5 and CSS3 research for my company as that is the direction we are moving (and ...

Hehe; except it is free you just close the pop up window and you have the full version. Amazing that over all the years of Winrar being around they still have never corrected this.
