In my opinion 3DSMax is great for this (but also expensive)... ;)

I have som questions i hope you can help me with:

1. I wonder if somebody knows a great tool to create soundtrack/music for games?

2. And a tool for creating effects like jumping, running och smashing stuff like that.

But which program do you use to create the music and sounds? From nothing to a real song? I tested Audacity and it looks more like a "take a song and make it your song" Have I wrong?
