My bad, obviously I didn't test against 1.6 and it looks like getPath() was added after that. The quickest fix for you would be to update to the 1.7 release of Irrlicht. If that's not an option, I should be able to modify it for 1.6 within the next couple of weeks. Also I'd like to reiterate that th...

The irrb Tutorials contains a link on how to setup/export transparent materials using irrb. Adler is correct about flipping the normals for issue #2. In Blender select the problem faces, hit the WKEY and then select "Flip Normals". You can visualize the Normals in Blender by activating &qu...

So there were a couple of things happening here. The first was the "-v" parameter erroneously included in the environment variable. irrb automatically adds the version parameter when invoking imeshcvt and this is why you were originally seeing: input mesh: -v output mesh 1.6 Error input me...

Remove the "-v" in your IMESHCVT environment variable. It should be:

IMESHCVT=C:\Python25\imeshcvt.exe

It may help if you email/pm me your "irrb.log" file. It's saved in the "Output Directory".

Hello RobbyRob - It looks like you're using an older version of imeshcvt so you'll need to replace it with the latest version from: irrbUtils-0.4-win32.zip.

When do you think 0.5 will be out? As you may have already seen in this thread, my irrb estimates have been somewhat lacking. Okay, completely inaccurate. So... here's what's currently in my head: 0.5 (Blender 2.49b) - bug fixes, particles, and possibly constraints. 1-2 months. 0.6 (Blender 2.6) - ...

Done in pre 0.5. Added 'sceneOutDir' to iConfig.py (may also be overridden in UserConfig.py). Defaults to '.' which causes the scene file to be saved to "Output Directory". Also Updated: irrb.log is now saved to the "Output Directory" instead of the scene directory. relative/abso...

Also you might want to add rigid body constraint support (for ragdolls, hinged doors etc). Yes, yes I would like to add support for constraints. ...I wonder about the following quote... No need to wonder as you can test it yourself. Here's a link to the compressed .blend: yoda.blend . The screen sh...

I'll add an option to copy non-packed images that aren't located in the irrb output image directory.

It would be good if both projects can benefit from eachother. Agreed. @torleif : Thanks for the idea. I'll add the ability to export a custom scene node using the "inodetype" Blender ID property (currently used for billboards & skyboxes). As far as the ability to copy images goes - No...

[fixed] gui element render problem

bug - 2927570 When a scene contains a mesh with a material that has a texture scale other than the default, the GUI element text doesn't render correctly when the mesh is in view. This happens using both the OGL and D3D devices. HillPlaneMesh in view (ogl): http://www.tubras.com/files/forumimages/ca...
