Sorry, maybe I used the wrong terms. When I say meshes I mean individual child geometries loaded in the b3d.

What happens is that I'm still confused about what is the diference between a joint, a bone, a children geometry.. (I mean, I know what they are but in the graphical point of view, I still ...

Hi, I don't ask how (yet :D ) but, is it posible to use freeimage library http://freeimage.sourceforge.net/ for making hdr-lightmaped scenes?

Ok, I see. In blitzbasic it's similar, if you load as animated mesh is separted in several objects, and as static mesh it's a bunch of vertices and faces.
In the case that I want to find a pointer to a children searching by the name, how do I do it?
In blitz it's something like: pointertToChild ...

How can I use b3d files?

Hi, once I loaded a b3d scene, how can I acces to the diferent objects without knowing the names, is there any way to obtain a pointer to each object inside a b3d file and then obtain the objects names? please can anyone post a sample code?

I think both of you was right, dev is much more easier but CB is more complete. I´m using dev for now because it caused no problems. I guess I will use CB when I learn some more of C++.

I have another question:
I need to create an ICursorControl pointer, but i need to call it from a function ...
