I believe I may have gotten Code::Blocks to compile with the MS Toolkit 2003 with the latest Developer SDK, my only problem now is with the new DX9 SDK, it seems to be missing the DX8 support files.

When I get it sorted I'll post a tutorial.

Re: Unreal Engine

Its crazy because we use c++ and they use unreal engine, it provides a GUI based creation software. That is easy to use... such and such... Like drag and drop... And it has amazing effects and such... Geez... I don't mean to stomp on your sausage, but what the hell are you on about, as far as I'm a...

I think this is the thread you'll want http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/ ... php?t=5223.

I sure hope 4,294,967,296 triangles is enough for you :P . I may be showing off with that, or I may be varifying what billion means.

It is a nice IDE, may take a little while to get used to, I've been using MSVC++6 for about 4 years, but most of what I want/need is there, now I just need 'find in files', but I can get round that for now by using the Windows Search.

Sorry Afecelis but I'm a 17 year old Male, and I'm just playing with you :D . Although I am very greatful for your help. Yes the dll compiled, slightly smaller than teh one to come with Irrlicht0.9 but I've checked it and it runs like a charm. I eventually got it to work using the 2003 SDK you point...

Afecelis I love you  .

Now I'll compile a dll with the DMFLoader and start pulling stuff for MOOD together, well maybe I'll go to sleep first.

Thanks.

I've been trying to get this to work for a week now, so I was quite happy to see you made this tutorial. Although it would seem I was doing everything fine already. Only difference is I'm using the MS Platform SDK not the MS Developer SDK, I've searched with google and on the MS site but can't find ...

Your not by any chance compiling in bebug mode, if so change it to release. Although I'm not sure how to go about that using VC++2003.

If it's not that then I can't think of anything, well not off the top of my head.

Your correct in saying that z is depth.

If you get confused, just look at it like this, your monitor is a standard 2D graph with x along it's width and y along it's height, then you've got z which can't be draw but is currently poking you in the nose.
