Well, you could do something like: IMesh* Mesh = SceneManager->getGeometryCreator()->createCylinderMesh(); SceneManager->addMeshSceneNode(Mesh); or write a quick patch for the engine itself. Hm... real 3D physics in a 2D jump and run. I'd really like to see that, that would be awesome. Shouldn't be so hard to implement, too.
For the Animator, I'd say, go for it and you'll see if it fits your needs. After all, it's one simple function call. Looking forward to Pingy's jump capabilitys ;)

Posts like this make me believe that Irrlicht is a game engine, and not a simple scene renderer as always promoted.

That would be one useless script. You can click on "View posts since last visit" in the upper right corner of the main forum page and you'll get a nice list.
