Hi
The vector3df(...) constructor demands numbers of data type "float". The result of Math.cos(...) is of data type "double". You just have to perform a simple type cast of the values from double to float like that:
float x = (float)Math.cos(a double value);
In your case it would be
float x ...

Is there an easy way to use all these cool extensions (or custom scene nodes) made for the C++ Irrlicht engine in Jirr, too. I'm thinking of the "realistic water scene node" or the "tree scene node" for example, not to mention IrrAI.

I'm actually pretty happy with Eclipse. I use it since a long time for Java development at least. The last version I've tried of Netbeans is several years old, so I can't really give a solid evaluation in comparision of Eclipse vs. Netbeans, but I think both IDEs are definitly well accepted industry ...
