That's actually pretty neat.
The rudder seems a little unresponsive (both with twist stick, and also with keyboard).
But if I twist the stick -and- press the rudder key at the same time, it yaws twice as fast

E for jet? Left index finger is reserved for D, a vital movement control. Jet should be Space Bar, like in most other games (jump). I don't know how to play either. Whatever the intended gameplay, it has to be made clear. Something as simple as 1 line of text explaining what to do when the game star...

I'm glad to see Pingy is still in development. The enemies look really fun. I can't run the demo, though. I get... 'this application failed to start because d3dx81ab.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem' when running the exe. I'm running XP 32 with Directx 9. **EDIT I...

I'm an artist, and I like seeing working code, and a comprehensive, well-written design. My dream game to work on is something that is already playable with placeholder graphics, and can sell in months (still looking :)). The thing that -really- scares me off is lack of planning or an over-ambitious...

I don't know if this is the intent, but I would love to see this as a game. Even in this state it's kind of fun to navigate around. You'd just have to shrink the solar system some more to make interplanetary travel more quick, and give the player objectives to complete (like fly to Mars with X amoun...

I don't know, I liked the original better, when he moved and jumped more crisply. It seems like the physics engine is causing more problems than it solves, with getting stuck on top of the rock, and getting stuck on the very edges of the cliffs when trying to jump them. Also, as Pingy moves along th...

I would play this just because it's so colorful and pleasant. I agree with Ducky; the deaths of millions in unending wars of grey palettes and disruptive eye straining pixels weigh heavily on my soul. Pingy gives me hope for a better world. What kind of challenges will the player face in the quest t...

That looks really cool. I'm a big fan of sims, and a plane modeler myself. Though I would offer a word of caution about making a realistic sim that covers 1948 to present. It is your first project, and remember that even Falcon 4.0, the most complex avionics simulation of all time, only had one flya...

Just Java which is no good for the games industry (excluding mobile phone games). I just want to point out the IL-2 Sturmovik flight simulator series is, as I understand, written in java, except for parts of the interface. Besides being an awesome series, it is also fast and rock solid stable, both...

FSM Pirates would probably eat spaghetti and drink beer and blog their ironic commentary. Or maybe it's just me. I would love to see a good, entertaining Christian game. Like maybe a Crusader game, in the same vein as Muslim Massacre. Or perhaps a God game like Black and White, but with more interes...
