I have never used the XNA, but I thought it was just a tool like Visual Studio. It just gives you a bunch of support libraries and an easy way to manage resources. If you change it before you draw the scene, it will be instant. That feature pisses me off the most. I absolutely hate webpages that do that. I hope irrlicht doesn't focus there. My web browser supports active searching. I use Mozilla. When I type, it automatically starts searching the page and jumps to matching text. When pages focus on a field, it doesn't sear...
