I am not sure I understand your issue. Is the q3levelmesh object already defined before this line? q3levelmesh = smgr->getMesh("TeamTemple_q3a.bsp"); If so I suggest you destroy it before re-defining. Also, you never set the position of the new bsp mesh. Is that your issue? q3node->setPosi...

I know that static library type of project can be created using XBOX Development Kit (from application wizard) but don't know anything beyond that. I am pretty comfortable with PC Based game development. But XBOX development is rpretty new to me. My college has the XDK and Irrlicht. The problem is ...

I have never used the XNA, but I thought it was just a tool like Visual Studio. It just gives you a bunch of support libraries and an easy way to manage resources. You still need to program everything yourself. If you are looking for some kind of engine, you will probably need to purchase something ...

Just remember (unless Niko changed it), the scene is drawn before irrlicht makes any transformations (kind of odd). cam->setpos(...); cam->lookat(...); smgr->drawall(); (generic functions used, not irr functs) That will accomplish the e...

That feature pisses me off the most. I absolutely hate webpages that do that. I hope irrlicht doesn't focus there. My web browser supports active searching. I use Mozilla. When I type, it automatically starts searching the page and jumps to matching text. When pages focus on a field, it doesn't sear...
