any ideas, I'm open to using any exporting program, but I'd like to model it in blender. Is IRRedit better for compiling maps?

PhysX can really do the job, it has everything from individual water particle displacement to destructive objects. It's also free for commercial projects. We just need to improve the PhysX wrapper. If we could get physically destructible objects... that would be sweet.

It supports blender to, so each developer gets to pick how they want to develop.

Edit:
I just saw that crystal light has a plugin to run real time changes through while editing (Blender, Max, Maya... supported) while the game is running... anyone up for a Irrlicht project? lol

Thanks, I gave exporting a map and importing it in GTK Gradient (with the same texture with the same name in the texture folder, although they were in a media folder when I used blender.) The solution: I tried adding a system("pause"); to the end of the code, but for some reason it continued exiting. I decided that somewhere in the code it must be returning 0 before it got to the end of the code. I looked around and noticed that it might be the media folder since it had ../...
