In september worked with the SIRRF framework, but I'm still waiting for more info about this, I'm mostly confused with it now and can't progress until the guys release 0.30.

It's a shame to hear that Sirrf is confusing you. Would you mind if we discuss the issues you have/had with Sirrf? Without ...

Do you have news about the new tutorials and examples?

Hi,

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time to work on Sirrf. At the moment there are more important things that require my attention. That means that I can't give an ETA for tutorials, examples or anything else that is supposed to be ...

I'm not exactly sure what's wrong; I don't use MSVC. I'll ask FuzzYspo0N if he knows what's wrong.

By the way, why are you compiling Sirrf as a library? Sirrf is meant to be build as an executable.

Re: Hey my boy!

can You write a small game examples? It is intuitive.we need it to study.
Small game examples are planned for the upcoming version (0.3.0) of Sirrf. I can't give an ETA, though, as I don't have that much time as I had a couple of months ago. For now I would suggest to look at the tutorials and ...

I agree with Sudi. If you're going to use a component-based entity system, it's certainly a good idea to also integrate a signal/slot system.

I use it in Sirrf. Although, in a slightly different way than Sudi described. Sirrf, for example, does use casting. The sigslot system is primarily being ...

From what I understood you're asking for a system that observes a certain variable (i.e. health), and triggers a change elsewhere in the framework. If that's not the case then please correct me. If it's the case, then I'm not sure if it should be implemented, because said behaviour can already be ...

Fuzzy told me that with Angelscript that everything will be scriptable. Aside from singleplayer scripts (i.e. switch x turns on forcefield Y) and multiplayer mods, what uses are there? Would it be used to script menus, or would that be done in the C++? Will the next version supply multiple examples ...

Thank you for the kind words for Sirrf.

It has becoming more and more clear to me which potential Sirrf has. Reviews like the one you posted only confirm this to me. We'll certainly continue developing Sirrf and many more features will follow. Physics and networking are certainly on my mind. The ...

For the tutorial about scripting, I think you had something on your wiki, I could try to create another gamestate to try it. The objective would be to redo your demo gamestate, but from a script file. So the new gamestate would load the script from a file. This would be really interesting for ...

Do you know if the Framework could handle more than one "pDevice"?
I didn't design the framework with multiple devices in mind. It's probably possible, but you'll probably need to change some things.

I have also requests as it would be great to have a demo of the scripting (would like to see a ...

Finally got an internet connection, again. :)

Great to hear that you finally got everything up and running, Christian. It's also nice to hear that you like how the framework deals with entities and components. It will become better with the next release, though, as we're adding support for reading ...

Hi.But the application look like it's stalled (no display at all, only a 1024x768 window)

That is expected behaviour. The framework is instructed not to draw when no state has been loaded. So it's working fine. :)

As for the rest, you'll have to wait for FuzzYSpo0N. I've already notified him of ...

Right now I can't use the console when I build the application or I get this linker error:
1>LIBCMT.lib(crt0.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _main

Recently code was added to the SVN version of Sirrf to regulate this behaviour. By default Sirrf MSVC projects only display a ...
