Re: 3D AudioAnimator

Nice, it's from Native Instruments, I was using some of their software in past. Check out this game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=le7PQyHYz-U You can load any song into it, ie in MP3 format. Didn't test it with any lossless formats, I do not know if it support FLAC but almost for sure should work ...

Re: 3D AudioAnimator

Oh what an interesting project! I was playing with such things too, check this video (at first ad may play, need to wait): http://w538.wrzuta.pl/film/00vVLQYQqfI/flame_based_on_music_spectrum_fft The flame was based on analyzing the song using fast Fourier transformation. Looks better on the refrain...

Re: tapeworm

Did you ever wonder how sh*t happens? The Plan In the beginning was the plan. And then came the Assumptions. And the Assumptions were without form. And the Plan was without substance. And darkness was upon the face of the Workers. And they spoke among themselves, saying, "It is a crock of sh*t,...

Re: Jesus

Well said words CuteAlien, I agree to that. I am an atheist, however I did read the bible. What I think, that the bible is a great book, but as a *philosophy book*. People are interpreting it in a way too much verbatim way, instead of interpreting it as a philosophy. "Jesus as a savior", i...

http://www.lolbrary.com/lolpics/382/resurrection-2--jesus-revenge-4382.jpg No, but I like parts of religions - for example stuff like architecture of cathedrals and temples and much of the art inspired by religions - so who knows, it might inspire a good game as well. Probably as long as it doesn't...

Re: Jesus

Dieser alte Heilige hat in seinem Walde noch Nichts davon gehört, daß Gott tot ist! While I am a strong atheist, for sure there are many God believers, including Christians. I think I even seen a religious game here on the forum, you would need to search. I think such games maybe will not make a big...

Re: The Music Thread

I think you can find the answer in this book: http://books.google.de/books?id=myFYnoJTTNgC&hl=de

It's an amazing book, if you didn't read it already, it is a must-read! Sometimes I almost cried in laughing :D

Remembers me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByuZfnImh9o :) Did you listen to Black Sabbath? This year they recorded a new album, they remained their style and did a great piece of music. A much better than recent Deep Purple album which sounds a lot different than their old recordings. edit: Just pu...

Re: Sky of Verdun 3d - Windows client

Um, why would you use a slow JS hack inside a browser, when the original game is freeware & runs on current OSes? Because... it's possible! It's not about if its fast or slow, has great graphics or not. The technology moves forward. People creating such things are pushing web further, to the hi...
