Once again all is wonderful in the land of irrlicht.

Re: Merry Christmas!
A Happy Merry Christmas to you too from warm summer Namibia!
And while I'm sure not everyone might celebrate Christmas, everyone will celebrate nonetheless for whatever it be.

Re: Makefiles Irrlicht examples -lXcursor
You can actually just install Xcursor library on linux, never had a problem with it. It's not needed all the time, but may be quite useful to someone in certain situations. So I don't think there is a reason to remove it.

Re: Call overhead stats
Actually @nadro, have you seen my post in SVN Bug reports thread? How might that relate to the recent changes in 2D/other rendering you made?

Re: Call overhead stats
Actually that's not a real good way of testing. You'll need a proper analysis tool to trace program execution and test what parts of a program take how much time. Also Irrlicht examples are graphically very simple, so performance improvements are not very reliably noticeable and only really show the...

Re: A better room for the demo [WIP]
Yeah we put nothing code wise in the demo so far! :D It's just modelling work at the moment. But If you want to help feel free to code something up, I will soon have an update for the repository and generate a complete .irr scene file plus meshes and textures. Have you had a look at either of the bl...

Re: The latest SVN bugs thread
Anyone look at the MeshViewer Example recently? Since about 4410(I think) Using 4415 right now. The model debug info is an insane mess! That excludes bounding box calculations for collisions though. Mostly it seems purely cosmetical, but massively annoying, also happens in a different App of mine on...

Re: Call overhead stats
Nice, sooner or later were getting there to have a nice fast irrlicht. :) Also I thought I'd just mention, on my Laptop with Nvidia Optimus graphics(A Intel HD4000 on CPU die and Nvidia GT630 on PCI-E) For some reason I get considerably higher FPS in Irrlicht with the Intel Card(Which is OGL3.3 16Sh...

Re: The latest SVN bugs thread
Latest svn version (4404) not building release build, have not tried debug build. Most likely caused by recent change from nadro This just using the default MakeFile as usual. Does though work when removing -fno-rtti from line 66 of Makefile. In file included from COpenGLSLMaterialRenderer.cpp:16:0:...

Re: Good News! Irrlicht featured!
Sad to see it mentioned last though. Just because of the lack of good irrlicht artwork..
But Cool nonetheless!

Re: A better room for the demo [WIP]
Commited my changes plus an _alt (alternate) map with more complex scenery to block the map in. It's still WIP, but will be far better than "rocks all round".

Re: A better room for the demo [WIP]
Errr wtf? Were not going to do any of that, and no I do not need to read up on Cloth simulation and drag coefficients either! Thats basic physics I covered in 1st year Engineering course. So just to clarify again, we are not making a cloth/wind simualtor here, this is just a graphical demo for irrli...

Re: Destruction in Irrlicht
Ehh! Blender isn't just "a free one"!
It's a very good one too! This demonstrated by the fact that Blender comes with a superb voronoi Cell Fracture addon, so you can really easily create your destroyed objects and export them.
