Re: Native Android port
Hello,
Could someone direct me to the download link, or svn or git repository for this ?
I've browsed the thread a few times and couldn't find anything.
Thanks.

Irrlicht Android Port, GLES2 driver not loading textures
Has anyone managed to get the GLES2 driver to load the textures on Android? GLES1 works fine with the same textures, and they are in power of two format.
The testing device is a LG Optimus Black, with PowerVR GPU. I think I once came across a post saying that the GLES2 driver does not work on all ...

Re: Is Irrlicht thread-safe?
One of them is a texture atlas, it keeps all of my buttons in one place, that is why it is so big, and the others have their purpose, but this is not the point of the discussion.

Re: Irrlich logo
I don't think it is worth going through so much trouble... other open-source engines have their logo in the downloads section, Irrlicht should do the same considering the fact that it's for their own publicity.

Re: Is Irrlicht thread-safe?
I am programming for mobile devices, Android specifically; the textures are in .png format and the largest is 1024*1024. To load 10 of these it takes about 2 sec in which time I would have liked to have sharp response to input.

Irrlich logo
Is there a large logo for the Irrlicht Engine, because I would like to include it in my project, an so far by googleing I only managed to find small ones?

Re: Is Irrlicht thread-safe?
Thanks for the answers. I implemented something like that aanderse but even by loading one texture at a time there was some lag, but it looks like I will have to cope with it.

Is Irrlicht thread-safe?
More precisely, can I make a loading screen with the actual loading happening in another thread(loading textures and meshes), while the main thread is responsible with the drawing?

Re: Scene Node vibrating if followed by camera
Sorry, my bad, it was actually in my code. I moved the camera before moving the tracked object.

Re: Android Port
Hy,
I have a problem with the GLES 2.0 driver. It does not load my textures. GLES 1.0 works fine with the same textures.
I have a LG Optimus Black.
Anyone know what is the solution to this problem?

Scene Node vibrating if followed by camera
Hello,
I have a MeshSceneNode which I move around in my game, followed by a CameraSceneNode from a fixed distance. When so, the mesh vibrates(or jitters, I dont't know how to put it), it does not move smoothly. If I set the camera to be still, the vibration stops.
Anyone encountered this before ...
