And if it could be included in next release would be very cool.
For shaders, i hope to see one day , post process effects like
general felxible Glow.
And one day , some projection textures shaders could help a lot , for minimum cost to project shadows of trees or others things on levels ...

Better Terrain LOD :

Hello :)

Well, the irrlicht terrain is indead a great thing.
incorporated LOD is great also, the only problem ,is that LOD
is too visible.
as we move throught the terrain , we can see very well moving or
adding / removing of vertices.
I find it too visible or noticable.

Would it be possible to ...

And i think you don't have to care about copyrights.

Just make a good fun game for the fans,
Nintendo won't go on Irrlicht forums and there are a lot of sites and
forums where a lot of people already use
their copyright pictures, 3D models etc....for mini games, remakes and
other ...

Yeah that's right !
Irrlicht is very great and have minimal dependencies.
I would just to see a customizable(for tone texture) toon shader.

And for the terrain , this is great, is it possible to define the LOD ,
because in the demo the LOD changing is too visible, we
see the vertex moving and face ...

Well for managed worlds, i think you don't use the right way.

You split your world into chunks of 100*100.
I have used a method already used in games of that type.

-Construct simple floor 100*100 squares where you apply textures like
ground, road etc...
- create your world editor where you can ...
