Shadows?
Hi! Has anybody got any kind of dynamic shadows working with .NET? The documentation mentions the createShadowVolumeSceneNode() method, as well as a way of creating shadows using a stencil buffer... any ideas, or is this something which is not yet implemented in .NET (despite the docs saying it is!)...

Hi Irme! Looks good so far! <Superficial thought> I think the camera should be a little higher if you are trying to mimic Diablo/Baldurs Gate etc. It seems a little 'low to the ground' to me (only if you are trying to exactly copy Diablo, that is!).. </Superficial thought> Not sure about the skybox,...

.3ds import bug?
There seems to be a problem with the .3ds import, where a mesh which is totally dark (ie all lights off!) in 3ds max is lit in irrlicht.
There is a workaround though.... just export to .x files, which solves the problem!
I am using 0.11 of the Irrlicht engine, via the .NET wrapper.

Nope, I'm afraid you're right. It obviously hasn't been implemented yet....
Soon, fingers crossed! (Mind you, it's the particle system and dynamic shadows I am hoping for in the next release!)

Just a (.net) thought...

Niko: would it be possible to add a new forum for the .NET implementation? That way all us outcast .NET guys could hang together someplace of our own! (And make it easier to find inofomation......)
