The way its looking, appears that you are moving the node, but not rotating it with the car. Remember the quads are created aligned btw Point1 and Point2, two vectores RELATIVE to scenenode. I compiled it with VC++ Express, maybe i forget to set something on compiler. I dont noticed, coz i have Net Framework installed :|

I updated RibbonTrailSceneNode.zip at http://br.geocities.com/paulo_cmv/ with a working example, made over TerrainRendering Irrlicht sample. You can download it again for some testing.

Happy to see more people using Meta. Its a great software to me ( a lazy modeler ). Its fast to learn the basics and start modeling boxes. I love the way camera turns around with right mouse button. I alwais use a single view, switching with F1, F2...

I have made a similar scenenode, but never finished it coz i have a math problem i cannot solve. I need to store a new point only if the angle btw the last two points and the current tire position is greater than, lets say, 5 degrees.
