I made a temporary fix by including the other sourcefiles.

3.OPCODE

Do not steal the "Polar Bears wondering in the streets" thing. I reserved by Finland. Why? Helsinki is much norther than Stockholm. Helsinki is about as north as the southern tip on Greenland.

What do you think of this OpenModel Project.

I'm lazy. I'll just copy/paste from the web site

OpenModel will load the file and supply you with a consistent interface to different file formats. Now you can get back to the most important things "developing your game".

There are so many Game Development task that every engine needs but people ...

Is there a specific reason for the lack of shader support, or is it just one of those "I'll get to it after I have solved these other problems first" ?

I had very similar problems with 2nd example but using 0.4.2 fixed them (no textures).

Can't really help much, but just to be sure you should check that your libraries are up to date. (little far fetched maybe)

It would be easier to say something if you told which distribution you are using.

Solved by upgrading to 0.4.2

I have no idea about the exact reason why but everything seems to work fine after unpacking and compiling 0.4.2. I Didn't bother to try without compiling.

Now I can finally get to work. Thanks to everyone involved for their help and to the Great Makers for this engine.

I started experimenting with a model made by my cousin and it seems that .bmp textures work fine but .jpg:s don't. Didn't have time to test any others but it seems that what ever format the quakemap uses isn't working either.

It isn't (or shouldn't be ) a driver problem because without the right ...

There are no Texstures in the 2nd example

The 2nd exapmle compiles fine and all but there are no textures. Just gray and white.

The console is full of errors similar to there

Sounds interesting.

You should propably start by finding out which part of the OpenGL isn't implemented in KGL-X and then try to find out if it is possible to make Irrlicht work without those features. If the answer is no then you would proceed with filling in the gaps you found by developping ...
