Irrlicht Engine

the first two parameters are inactive for now (will be used in the future) and the next two parameters are used for positioning in a 10x10 grid.

So 10x10x5x5 will be right in the middle of the grid.

I do have a blue fog applied, but wasn't that noticeable in that screen.



The game doesn't have any kind of shadows or post effects, when I'll add those it will look more immersive.

I think what you've been reading isn't as much about the technical limitations of Irrlicht. It's quite a capable engine. Like others have said, you'd just require some sort of LOD system and content streaming. Rather, I think it's more that making a game as complex and massive as GTA is a huge orde...
