If bandwidth becomes an issue just place them (or I can if you want) on the Bittorrent Network.

Then they will circulate freely and without costing you a cent in bandwidth.

Also try researching on gamedev.net and similar places AI.

You'll get some great introductory material and then you'll be able to tell others the theory behind it as well as using it

I did like the character animations, the vertex shaders for the faces were particularly good, a real sign of things to come. I think, Dawasw you expected too much or believed the hype or both :) Just because it takes 5 years to make the game doesn't mean it won;t suffer from some problems (actually ...

Wow, what sort of complete degenerate is the idiot who hacked this phpBB? I know how annoying and frustrating it must be for you Niko. All I can say is remember that the hunderds (thousands?) of people who love Irrlicht as much as you are equally as angry at this idiot as you must be. I'd also like ...

If there was a reliable and free way to run 99% of the pc games available I would switch 500% to linux but until then I will have to do with running it in vmware. Transgaming costs $5 a month to get their updates and they support most (all?) big name games within weeks of release. They make an addo...

LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'odbc32.lib' This is the only thing stopping the app from compiling. Now from recollection the 'odbc32.lib' is the file allowing basic binding to an ODBC database. You don't need this file to make Irrlicht apps. I don't think you started with a bla...

My guess is that this is the problem line xml = device->getFileSystem()->createXMLReader("config.xml"); Furthermore my guess is that your program cannot find the file "config.xml" Just to debug try the entire path to the file, ie "C:/Irrlicht/Projects/SuperApp/config.xml&quo...

What compiler and IDE are you using? (Helps us help you to debug - doesn't have to do with the problem) Most likely what is happening is that you are passing a pointer to a function and that pointer is null (0x00000000). Then the function tries to do something on the data pointed to by the pointer b...

I think it has to do with the fact OGL is mipmapping the HUD. Turn off mipmapping and see if that fixes it. Also maybe draw the HUD is 2D and use a scissor test to apply it to the scene. Also make sure your HUD is 1:1 for each pixel in the framebuffer. (or use an resolution independent solution) Ans...

I'm not so sure Max/Maya/Others have such a huge edge anymore. I've been playing with Blender all today and it is kicking some serious ass! Some features are better than others. Just look at the LMSC uv mapping - Unless Max has similar in 7 (I'm only up to 6) I think Blender's uv unwrap equivalent i...

Yeah I know the feeling, I'm 22, geez I'm old :) Once upon a time I was trying to create a terrain LOD. I was attempting use nurbs generated from a heighmap. Unfortunately I never successfully got 4th Degree continuity at the seams between tiles of different LOD. It looked ok until you looked closel...

I previously went throught the documentation available for 2,25 (or something) coming from a Max / Maya history it was novel but appeared a bit "clunky" to navigate around. Now with 2.35 and the Video tutorials it all makes so much more sense! I really think Blender is a Max/Maya killer th...

Great! I'll just assume that you'll be too busy this week with Schoolies :) But I just say this much, I'm always up for helping with a project, especially if the other people on it are in the same timezone. So if you are ever starting something bigger than HL2, give me a yell and if I have the time ...
