I did a little game in IrrlichtNX which is not so different from original irrlicht. It is a FULL game. And is my first one. Here is the thread:

I tried to do the same on my project, but disabling the lighting doesn't stop the object to cast shadows on itself. In my case, I had a very low poly model, and the shadow looked ok on the ground, but on the model had some artifacts. So I think this is an interesting feature to implement (if anyone ...

Ugly graphics Yeah, I know, I've done them by myself (my first 3D Studio models) and I'm not an artist. But hey, they're not that bad for my FIRST GAME (and a finished one). Not many people can say this. The only thing I didn't do by myself was the sounds (which were taken from an old rally game). ...

Come on guys, you were always complaining that there were not finished games made with irrlicht, and I bring you this one and no comments? I know there are bugs, but we're still working on it! I posted this screenshots in another thread, but maybe someone wants to see them before downloading (they'r...

Hi! I'm releasing a beta of my game. I post a demo a long time ago, I Finally! Some screenshots of my game. The first playable release will be out this month. [It has no sky because in debug mode I don't want to wait until the skybox is loaded ;)] In game: http://gamelab.uniovi.es/stuntchallenge/imagenes/Capturas/ampliacion/juego_1.jpg http://gamelab.uniovi.es/stuntchallenge/i...

I disagree with you, katoun, Nx is as easier as irrlicht, and with some new features. It's got a separate resource manager (you don't have to create an irrlicht device for that). It handles different rendering windows. It also has an event system much better than just the IEventReceiver (it's like j...

I've been playing with the newton playground demo a lot, but my partner, who is doing the physics, prefers TrueAxis. Remember, this is our first game/demo EVER, so we still have to learn a lot. I just want a simple game that can run in my machine (so I've got the minimum specs :D ) We started with N...
