Re: How to search active host using irrNetLite?
irrnetlite is defunct as far as I know. It's great to learn with but far from a proper networking lib. Networking is hard, simple as that. Learn it or use raknet or something else. Personally I'm trying to wrap enet to do my bidding. That will probably also fail, but that is how I learn. Trial and e...

[fixed]1.8 and 1.8.1 GUI and GUI Editor BUG
Ok I have been debugging and working out problems while switching IDE/Compiler once again. This bug is a typo in IGUISkin since 1.8 apparently. It's one of those really silly things, you're going to laugh when you realize. LINE 222 of IGUISkin.h "ButtonPressedImageOffsetY" should be "...

Re: Simple Spherical terrain
granyte don't be too sure because back then it may not even have been detected.. in fact it's still not by most antivirus, just two of them. I'm using comodo free, it was recommended on the net somewhere to me as being the best, and at this point I would have to agree. The other av detection confirm...

the zip file is reported as a Trojan injector... perhaps the authors secret botnet backdoor, or perhaps compromised by someone else on his server.. http://virusscan.jotti.org/en/scanresult/0c9705fd110691d218a9f11dba46c7b9b2f6ca35 https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/86bf05b38c0da9930ea7a434e254f49ff2f...

Re: irrNetz (another lightweight enet wrapper)
Ideally you could mix it with some irrlicht like demo, using irrlicht events for keys. this is (IRR)netz afterall.

Re: irrNetz (another lightweight enet wrapper)
is that what it is? Yeah we've gone down the C&Cpp debate road enuff... as a matter of fact MSDN is telling me conio and those two functions from it are proper for all versions of the C Runtime libraries so it is actually c++ anyway I guess. At any rate I've gained knowledge from your code and I...

Re: irrNetz (another lightweight enet wrapper)
yes enet is protected, and your code is mostly correct as well (printf = c++)
but in your examples you're using _getch() and _kbhit().
Those are C if I'm not mistaken and I occasionally am. On that note I'm not trying to make a big deal of it, just thought I'd point that out in practice.

Re: irr_ptr
I didn't wrap it.. I made a game engine, or making. I simply ripped off reference counter and added it to my engine which I plan to rewrite. Now you've provided some code I can use to expand, appreciated!
