For anyone who might need to know. I finally tagged the "2.2.0 stable" release on github and am moving to 2.3.0. So if anyone comes to this thread looking for a "stable" release its on github.

This is something that openal is really weird about.. that value is 0.0 - 1.0 and all the values in between are 0% - 100% so when you set it to 2.0 thats 200% that volume so explains why its so loud. We have no plan to support vs2005 however in each "release" we supply you with the entire source and all the dependency's *precompiled*. So to create a project would be as simple has adding all the files in the source,headers, and include directory.. Then just linking the libs and headers ...

Can you be a bit more descriptive? Whats the error and im unsure if wxDevcpp by defualt uses a WIN32 define so in your cflags area of your project properties you can try to define CAUDIO_OS_WIN

Thanks but im not the only one who's responsible. Dark_Kilauea and I have put alot of hours behind this release. I believe we put managed to squeeze every feature request we have gotten into 2.0.0
