Irrlicht Engine

Hmmm ... why don't you put this patch into the main source tree for Irrlicht? Perhaps it could be integrated into Irrlicht 1.3 or sth?

I always wondered why the functionality was not extended to linux...

oops... I know this thread is kinda old, but does MACARRAUM's DLL work for GM v6.1 free? The DLL support is for paid version only?

I wonder if feature requests come in this forum? I've always wondered wy only windows had the "separate window" feature. Why not linux too? It's not that linux prog library does not have such a feature; it uses handles too. ANyway, Irr's support for GUI elements would not be too necessary ...
