Which version has less bugs ?
Hi, I didn't make anything with Irrlicht for some time now and I'm wondering which version is the best atm. I mean I heard that there are some bugs like problems with animated meshes, some occlusion problems - some gui problems (as I remember good ^^" ). Anyway I know that few people are using ...
I will definately try Gears of War 2 when it hits and for me - the greatest of E3 is Fallout 3. ;) Fallout 3 <- same design, same atmosphere of the game and even there is a lot of 2d art from previous Fallout 1 and 2. All this in a new great graphics, with lots of quests and non-linear action - free...

Is IrrEdit good with Irrlicht ?
Welcome, I place this in this section, because its a simple question and I need an advice. Let's say I have made many models for my game, I mean - I have some game levels and some exterior areas - they could make some kind of seamless world. My questions are: Is IrrEdit having any major problems wit...

Doesn't that sound good to you ? :D Maybe you already have someone, who loves you a lot. (So I shouldn't wr...

As for the portal occlusion, check out Lightfeather 3d engine (based on IRRlicht) - they have implemented portals (Electron was one of the developers I guess he's still working as a dev. out there ;) ): http://lightfeather.de/ You can notice on the home page the features: ' * Various culling methods...

Starcraft II and now... Diablo III!
For those who don't ready any news, here, check it out: http://www.blizzard.com/diablo3/ For me Diablo 2 was the best hack'n'slash game ever when it was released (and of course Diablo 1 <- a classic and it is the best too ;) ) and even after D2 was released - it remain to be the best. As far as I re...

Havok is going to be free. =]
The basic version of Havok Physics and Havok Animation is going to be free <- according to the latest news from PC Game Alliance.
Havok is a property of Intel, which is a member of PCGA.
These are really good news. We can just hope it's going to happen soon.

Well how about a small single player role playing game. With few npc's with few locations and more than few monsters. A hack'n'slash diablo style fpp or tpp and it rocks ;). I think it's quite possible to be completed in quite short time. The most wonderful thing would be having graphics fully done ...
