Currently we are in need of props and all kinds of non-animated objects including placeables, furniture, decoration and weapons. Do you need concept art for that too or only creature models? Because even though we do have some creature concept art available, most of it belongs to 3rd party contribut...

One thing is, with environment aware gui, you can overload the mouse to ddo all the keys can do, without making it point and click. For example, imagine a donut representing your turret on your ship. Clicking on the screen outside the donut will slowly aim your ship toward there. Clicking on the do...

Unfortunately, that's exactly the opposite of the gameplay experience that I want to present. I feel there are plenty of click-to-win games. If you don't have to do the aiming yourself, then you're just grinding numbers in a database. Technically you would still have to aim by steering the ship to ...

This is good but very very confusing, especially basic ship control. Remember the first feature a good game should have is to be user friendly, no matter how complex the actual gameplay is. The concept of controlling the totality of a battlecruiser is very interesting but it should be made on a less...

I wade into this argument with reluctance but those first two links you post just sound like they've been written by someone very sour at EA and are just reporting everything to do with EA as a bad thing and writing it in a very biased way... The last link, about EA appealing to Take-Two's sharehol...

Uhmm, yes that is totally right...not! If I recall correctly, id software started this whole graphics race, and epic games is continuing it. EA games is just a follower. Id only played a part in advancing game technologies since they opted for a more passive course of action instead of agressive co...

ahan... I worked at EA. My roommate works at EA. Even Penny-Arcade, which were pretty hard EA basher a couple of years ago, have said plenty of good things about all aspects of EA recently, with a few exceptions. What's your source? Maxis is an old studio that I love, yet the Sims project was thoug...

That's mud slinging at his best. The biggest, most paying (and one of 4 of the branches of the company) sequels inducing game that EA has is... The Sims! Develloped under a EA banner from start to now. EA has only 2 sequels per original title on average, considering EA Sims and EA sports, that migh...

Which is probably why EA is the most successful game company on this planet... hm, wait... But if you read my text you see that I'm not working on this anyway ;-) Just because it has money it doesnt mean its sucessful. Most EA originals suck big time, and the only games that sell nicely are remakes...
