How to get the build log of GCC?

Post by MasterGod »

Hi,

Lets say I want to make some script to compile some files with gcc and I want to send the build log to a friend or something over the internet.
I don't have any IDE or something, my terminal is a console.

How can I get the build log of gcc as a text file?

You can pipe it into a file like so:

howeverYouInvokeGcc.exe > outputFile.txt

Hope that helps :)
