ghoul2 - glm/gla format support or conversion

Post by btcguy »

Hi everyone...

i'd like to use some glm models i have, there's no problem to convert them
to another format readable by irrlicht using Milkshape... problem is
i want to use the animations too (gla) since i'm not an animator...

does anybody knows how to either load this file with animations into irrlicht
OR
any tool that will convert this file to md2/3 with full animations??

thanks!

I don't really know much about this but the most logical answer would to me being to merge the two files together with milkshape.. if that is posible?

Hope it helps just bit.

well that's not possible

Milkshape is not loading the skeletal animations, just the model, and it's quite useful that way... i don't wanna spend hours doing again the animations and so on...

so... since there are no other replies i guess nobody knows how to do this...

If you have a specification of the file format you could implement your own reader.

Yes, that's correct. and no one else won't be able. So search for a (commercial) tool doing this conversion.
