Some of them are hard to notice, if you aren't really paying attention.

There was a spam post on these forums once that actually talked about 3D. When I went to link, it tried to install a "Media Player Codec" which was really most likely some kind of trojan ActiveX control. I had to think twice, because the post said something about a video of something with 3d, like a demo or something.

I think people get too comfortable with things like firewalls, anti-viris and anti-spyware programs. They can only help you so much, you always have to be on your toes on the internet.

Use LINUX, if only for internet. Still afraid, use LINUX Live-CD and you are INVULNERABLE.
