first of all: Irrlicht is great!
Okay, here are my questions:
(I am using the current release of Irrlicht, of course)
- Why don't Quake3 Maps have alpha-blended Textures? Things that should be transparent or partially transparent are simply black. Is that my fault or just a missing feature in Irrlicht?
- Not exactly Irrlicht-related but anyway: What physics engine should I use? Tokamak or Newton?
- How can I create a simple textured room without loading a bsp? Or do I have to create my own scene node for that? Does collision detection work right away with self-made scene nodes or do you have to implement that aswell?
- Is there a way to do collision detection with a bounding box other than an ellipse?
