When banks compete, you win.
When ISPs compete, you win.
When electronics retailers compete, you win.
When governments compete...you get drafted.

This is true. I was using a 1.6 Gig pentium 4, and once I upgraded to an ATI 9200(yeah, back then it was an upgrade), my games were running like nothing. 3dsmax 8 works fine on this computer, and I even get bumpmapping, but only with DX, not OpenGL. The processor wasn't holding me up, rather the crappy intel onboard thingy. Video cards usually make much more difference, even if you are runing a processor like pentium 3, if you have a good vid card, then a lot of things still run fine.lostclimategames wrote:definately, your processor is fine for probably about any application as long as you have enough ram and a fast enough videocard, most people dont understand how well 2ghz and up actually works when accented by enough of the other hardware
