Can you post a detailed description of the game?

Well I haven't posted one up yet but we do have one.

The reason I haven't is because I'll get flamed saying 'you'll never be able to do that yet'. When we get further in development and such I'll post it.

I posted a vague description in the main post now.

Also, a few new updates.

We've got collision detection working a bit better, we may just decide to go with a physics engine though.

We've got networking and a better framework for handling everything now. Hopefully that turns out good.

Going to do our first major client-test soon, I'll report back with results from that.

Lots of modeling been going on, hopefully I'll have some new screenshots up soon.

Cool. I just thought it was odd to post progress reports on an essentially unrevealed game. Anyway, it's good to see that you're going for wars between factions, rather than the totally prescribed BS seen in most MMORPGs.

I've had notes that this sounds too much like WoW.

1. I despise WoW.
2. I've had this idea since before WoW, just haven't worked on it.

Haha, that's good to know. I also despise WoW, and pretty much every generic, level-grind MMO, so if someone is intent on making something fresh, there's a much better chance I'll like it.

This won't be so level-based as skill-train-based.

I've got a few people working on a balanced system.

I've got about 3-4 on the actual team and a handful of contributors.

Got a few new team members, they're doing great :D

Also, we're planning to release a 'demo' when the first territory and adequate features are finished.

Should be within the next few months to year.

We need more 3d artists, if you know of a good site or know some people who'd like to join a project, please point them our way.

No major updates yet, a few bugfixes though.

Update, we now have sound via Irrklang and the chat and login system are now pretty much bug-free, haven't encountered anything ugly yet...
