Hey izigoo, newton is free for all kinds of projects commercial and noncommercial!

Now about the project, after my last post i turned my pc off, and then it didnt turn on! Turns out my rd ram was burnt out! Since then i tried to find rd ram but as its really really old i couldnt get it and it was in for repairs since then. And as i hav no cash i could afford to buy a new pc just yet. So i waited and got ma pc bak yesterday! No progress has been done since 28th feb. Bad things dont stop here, i hav my exams in two weeks now, so i have less time to work on iphysics and the diary where i write down about iphysics, that helps me a lot is in my home in karachi where i am not going for another few weeks, but none the less i will go on! I am thinking about making a few more quick examples and releasing it so i can concentrate on ma skul exams!

Man...That sucks. Well, at least you got your PC back and finally can post. I was starting to wonder and I bet Monkeycracks was too.

Ok now! I had almost completed iphysics, cut out a lot of features but even then i was just polishing it up, with commenting and tweaking character collision when suddenly came irrlicht 1.3 with several core changes which made iphysics very strange and unstable at first i was confused with the problem but now i have improved the code a lot tho but i am in the middle of my skul xams which will end in some while after which you can expect the release! Even tho iphysics was supposed to be a small irr newton layer i have had some new thoughts that can make life very easy for a lot of ppl! Now i dont want to take your guys hopes very very high and then break em so i wont tell much but i hope ill be able to make an update here very soon!

What ?!

I mean... you still have the 1.2 version :D ?

Because there are a few people who don't like irr 1.3 and use 1.2.

Plz m8 tell me that you didn't switch it totally already. :(

What kind of strange and unstable? I was about to use IPhysics for my game, but I've been using Irrlicht 1.3 so strange and unstable could be a bad thing...Anyways, I had a look at the site (the old one, with the tutorials) and I gotta say, it looks really easy to use. Looking forward to the 1.3 version!

Its currently giving me bugs, but im solving them one by one, and hopefully youll get a more or less complete version of the latest iphysics for irrlicht 1.3!

The strange and unstable behaviour is what im going to solve before releasing the newer version for irrlicht 1.3!

The new site says IPhysics is almost ready to upload, minus that major bug of course, and I was wondering is there's any more updates since then, maybe even a download link (a little hopeful maybe?)

Ya it is complete it just gives an error when you quit the app, and i am having trouble debugging it cause vc6 gives me an error that vc60.pdb was not found, so it doesnt let me debug!

Neways here is the file with the error when you quit the app, just remember to put the map-20kdm2.pk3 file which is in irrlicht/media folder to the iphysics/media folder! Did that cause it removed 2 mb from the to be uploaded file!

https://sourceforge.net/project/showfil ... _id=187859

~2.7mb

It has several updates from the previous version! Hope you guys like it![/img]

It's nice to see a release and I really hate to say this, but I'm having problems with it. For starters, all of the examples crash except for "car", which has a terrain and a black object in it but doesn't do anything else. Also, I can't compile any of your examples, I've set all my directories, but VC++ Express keeps saying this, no matter which example I try...
1>c:\stuff\iphysics 1.5 irr 1.2\include\physicsglobal.h(9) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'iostream.h': No such file or directory
If it helps at all, I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium, Intel Core Duo T2350 @ 1.86Ghz, 1GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce Go 7300 128Mb.

Also, looking at the filename I'm going to assume this is for Irrlicht 1.2?
