exactly. wait until RC1, at the very least. theres no support for updating the forums right now (and there will be no support for forums that have been in beta state at any point in time for the lifetime of phpbb3)

It's time to use a NEW forum software, like SMF. phpBB has terrible security and also terrible management tools....even version 3.

[IRRspintz] The better Irrlicht, that actually works and doesn't just keep adding bugs!!!!
that's some sig man. do you really feel that way? I know there's a lot of people sort of upset about the API busting in 1.3, but was it really that bad? I still don't get why there is such an uproar about it....
My irrlicht-based projects have gone underground for now, but if you want, check out my webcomic instead! http://brokenboomerang.net

I noticed it, but I didn't say anything because I don't like to start flame wars. :D

Err... off topic?
By the way what you people think about the forum that niko had built up for irrklang, irredit and irrxml?

I like it! However, it doesn't use php, but rather perl. I am not sure how well that would be supported on the sourceforge servers. What I really like is the rss feeds... Quite handy. You can monitor the entire forum, a board, or a single thread. Now, if only phpBB2-3 had that feature... :)

Yep, that's the reason I chose that forum, the RSS really is nice. And I wouldn't say phpBB has a terrible security system: It's about as good as that of every forum software. phpBB is only extremely popular and targeted by all those spammers and script kiddies.
