I made a multiplayer bomberman clone with irrlicht like a few onths ago...u could take a look at the source so u can see how u shouldn't do it....lol...good luck

Hi All

I think i have done a playable level of this game. if you guys can give your input it will be great

ArrowKeys along with mouse for movement
space for pause
Q for Quit to mainmenu

do you have any single player ai implemented, if so i'd be interested to see what type of technique you used, since currently i am finishing a commercial bomberman remake, and the only roadblock right now is that im not sure how to do the ai in a way that is efficient enough good gameplay on older machines.

I think bomberman Enemy Ai is generally dumb. i have implemented basic AI for enemies. right now there is only one type of enemy AI but i am working on different enemy AIs.

Right now Enemy moves forward in straight lines unless intercepted by a obstacle (that may be a may be wall or breakable blocks). when intercepted it randomly decides on the direction & makes the turn. if it steps on the bomb fire it dies & if it collides on player player dies.
