okay sorry, as you know the beta will have 300 people and will be an almost fully functional version. the game will have and single-multplayer experience (a new concept we hope works) where there will be some parts of the game where you will be by yourself advancing the plot and somtimes you will be with other people doing quests, trading, etc. So we hope that works out, Secondly the game will be fist person, so you will be able to see your sword and/or sheild. i could go on about this but there will be more details soon on our website/

yes we have started and thats why i said late 2007/early 2008.
I would say im 5% done with the sub-engine (the engine of the irrlicht engine) and i am making progress fast, about 5% weekly. also yes there will be many weapons, i just used that as an example

So you've worked on this one week and you're already signing up beta testers? Usually a well thought out game doesn't have its treatment done in one week. Let alone started. And since you've only worked on it one week thats a pretty fallable average.

I deduct you've been working on it a week because you said its 5% done and you've done 5% a week.

BTW most MMOs take years to make, a good year for a real alpha, so good luck making a beta this year, you'll need it... unless you're making A VERY low featured MMO.

oh no, we did not start a week ago. We have been doing concept art, much coding, stress tests, and such for a little over 4 months. The actual game sub-engine was started 5%, note i did not say the game, I said sub-engine! And our release date is planned 2009 to 2010. Trust me, we have our secrets, just not revealed as of yet.

IMHO it is too early to announce your project... Announce again when you got something to show and get our attention! 8)

Good Lord! Did I read that right? Is that a joke? If not, you've gotta aim lower, my friend! How low? Certainly lower than "to make an amazing game with good graphics, a better story line, and the best gameplay out there!"

I'm basing my statements entirely on two sentences, and my detection of written sarcasm is not always up to par - Feel free to clarify, or to prove me wrong =)
