Skeleton+Morph animation

Post by blindfold »

Hi.
I'm new here, in fact, this is my first post.:)

Is it possible to have animation based on both morph targets and bones in the same time?

The way I would like to do that is:
Use a skeleton animation for standard behaviours (ie. walk, hand gestures during talk), while (after) morphing base mesh with additional enhances (ie. breathing, face mimic).

Thank you in advice.

Please, anybody?
I don't believe nobody touched something different than just a quake model.

I know you can use bone animation as the dwarf in some of the examples does it. No clue about morph animation though.

Men,
I have the same problem.
I have used only animated models for while, loading from Directx files.
But, I want so much to know how can I apply morph to mesh.

Please, post in this forum any progress.

Well. I think I will just write my own format instead. Maybe I'll port it than to irrLicht if I will use it.
