i was wondering if anyone wanted to know how to do this before i wrote up a tutorial. although i have seen many posts on this problem and i wanted to end it once and for all. so you dont have the expense of physics nor the glitchiness of irrlicht's collision with terrain. this is very simple so i wanted to know.
EDIT: here it is:
http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/ ... 322#124322
Thanks,
