hi I'm new here and I'm learning C.
I've noticed this engine and decided to take a look at it.
do you people use WXDev-C++ or is it the older than dirt Dev-C++?
just wondering.

next I just wan't ask has there been any games made with this engine?

Welcome to the Community! A word of advice - If you plan to use DirectX get Code::Blocks or I can supply you with a .dll for DirectX compiled. Also you might want to check out irc chat (pm me for more info). Last word of advice: start out small and work yourself up to an MMO (like 4 years+). And you will be on your way to making games and/or making money. Well welcome and PM me if you cave any questions!

About your IDE question - I use Code::Blocks cause it supports all compilers.

Thanks,
catron

as an actual answer to your question:

some of us do use wxDevC++, some of us use the old DevC++.
Some of us use Code::Blocks (which can load all other IDE projects)
Some of us use MSVC 6 and greater
many people use linux for their projects, and use the appropriate IDEs on there.
Just pick whatever your most comfortable with, as it's probably easy to set Irrlicht up in it.

I wxdev-cpp because it's great it basicly is an update to dev-cpp.
I used code::blocks but didn't like it. I used vc++ and didn't like it this can use mingw and 2005 compilers but uses one clean dev-cpp ide :D

Thanks I started on C this week. I like it.
oh dx is not my thing as I also use linux.
