Age: 25 (last month)
Location: Köping, Sweden
Website: http://deesine.grafikfel.org
Got my first computer at the age of 10, which was a commodore 64, almost immediately started with qbasic to make some simple games and graphical experiments. I was also very active with pen and paper and drew quite a bit, been keeping up with drawing and computers ever since. Been a hobbyist programmer, tried a number of languages including basic, c, c++, java, asm, etc etc, nowadays I mostly script stuff... My focus is computer graphics and I'm working towards my bachelors degree in said field

alright, my turn.
Name: Chris
Age: 18 (almost 19)
Languages: C++, QBasic
Hobbies: games (rts, rpg, tbs, fps), music, video production, theater, 3d modeling, programming (of course), working on my computer
meh. I started my first coding on an "upgraded" win95 machine back when i was 10, in qbasic. At 12, I started on GameMaker, at 14 I started teaching myself C and C++. I searched around for engines, started with crystal space (after playing planeshift for a while), looked at ogre and irrlicht, and chose irrlicht.
I've been in a multitude of theatrical productions, 10 or so, with a lot more on their way.
I've been tearing computers apart and putting them together again for 10 years or so now (ever since my parents put a password-on-boot on our old pc). I even worked for my high-school as an unofficial computer expert on premesis (not saying i am, they just thought so).
Currently working on Spyhunter and FarAway, with lots of small projects hopefully getting accomplished too.

Name: Leander
Age: 24
Location: Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Languages: UnrealScript, ActionScript, HTML, C#, little Java and a very very little C++ for now.
Spoken languages: Dutch, English, German, some French
Hobbies: Creating stuff, doing stuff that might get me killed.
Ok, a little more information about me:
Some might call me a communist, but I prefer the term Idealist. I'm getting tired of all the hate and unbalance in the world. I'm still looking for something useful to do, and I don't mean programming the best game in the world... I mean really useful: building a school in Africa, teaching people how to help themselves in society, how to read, how to create a better world... Just walking down the street and looking at the world sometimes makes me cry. Maybe it's because I have a history of living in squats, seeing friends get shot by dealers... Maybe it's because my mom died and my mother in law is a witch... No, it's because the world could be so beautiful and we mess it up just because we want money and even when we notice the world is getting f***ed we still want more. I don't want to take, I want to share, I want to give.
And hey, here I am, posting on a nerd forum... But nothing is what it seams to be, I'm here because I'm gonna create the best game in the world... FOR FREE. Stealing EA's customer database is my primary objective.
For the rest I'm a graffiti artist, a pencil drawing artist, a nerd, a 3d modeler, a vert inline skater, a smoker, a stoner, a drinker and a thinker.
I think this will give enough insight in my doing/thinking for now.
Nice to meet and greet you all!
By the way, this is my 1st post on this forum...
